Fresh flowers on the altar honor God and add the beauty of our worship; they are much appreciated. People often use the occasion of an anniversary, celebration or memorial as an opportunity to provide flowers for the altar.
To sign-up for flowers, contact the church office (office@stjamesclinton.org) so we can acknowledge your donation in the worship bulletin. Then, contact a local florist to deliver an arrangement or bring your own arrangement. We request arrangements arrive
by noon Saturday and be no higher than 21". After the Sunday service, you may pick up your flowers.
If you live out of town, contact our our administrative assistant, office@stjamesclinton.org or
315 853 5359. She will assist you in finding a date. Indicate if you will arrange delivery by a
local florist or if you want an altar guild member to facilitate this.
Because we feel that the gift of flowers represents a personal relationship with the giver, the event or person in whose honor the flowers are given and with God, we do not stipulate a style of arrangement or a minimum cost. However, in choosing flowers, keep in mind the size and style of our altar area. Two smaller arrangements are preferred to one large one.
