St. James’ Outreach has made Haiti a priority for our financial support. We have established a relationship with Pere (Father) Frederick Menelas. Pere Fred oversees several Parishes, most of which have a school associated with them. The school we have partnered with is St. Paul’s in the remote, mountainous town of Beaudin Jean Peire. We were thrilled to have Pere Fred come to St. James for a visit (Sunday June 21, 2015).
Our hope is that some of us will be traveling to Haiti in the future on a mission trip. Join us in reaching out to a part of the world that is filled with wonderful people just waiting to get to know us! St. James’ has always been a caring community, let’s continue that tradition this weekend.
